Founded in 1971, under the name of Johnston Waste, URM has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a single garbage collection vehicle.
URM Environmental Services Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1994.
We’ve built solid foundations and the superior performance of our operations has helped us to create one of Australia’s largest privately owned resource recovery and recycling companies.
We currently employ over 700 dedicated staff, render services through a collection fleet of over 350 vehicles, operate multiple processing facilities and assist numerous partners implement sustainable environmental solutions.
